Kastori Kalli

Η Κάλλη Καστώρη γεννήθηκε στον Βόλο. Ακολούθησε σπουδές πάνω στη μουσική και την κιθάρα έχοντας από πολύ νωρίς τεράστια απήχηση. Έκανε ηχογραφήσεις σε ραδιοφωνικούς σταθμούς στο Κάιρο, τη Ρουμανία, τη Σόφια και την ΕΡΤ. Δίδαξε επί σειρά ετών, ενώ έδωσε συναυλίες σε Διεθνή Φεστιβάλ, όπως το Apollonia Festival of Arts στη Βουλγαρία, και το Aalborg στη Δανία. Τον Μάρτιο του 1988, ένα από τα πιο γνωστά περιοδικά στον χώρο της μουσικής, το Classical Guitar, κυκλοφόρησε με άρθρο του έχοντας τίτλο “Greek Notebook– Colin Cooper visits Volos”, (Ελληνικό Σημειωματάριο – Ο Κόλιν Κούπερ επισκέπτεται τον Βόλο) στο οποίο ο δημοσιογράφος κάνει αναφορά στη μουσική της: «Είμαι εντυπωσιασμένος από την Κάλλη Καστώρη… παίζει τόσο ευαίσθητα και με τόσο υπέροχο ήχο», περιγράφει. Από το 2000 και μετά, η Κάλλη Καστώρη αφοσιώθηκε πλήρως στην Εικαστική Τέχνη. Τo 2003 πέρασε πρώτη στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και αποφοίτησε πρώτη από το εργαστήριο του Γιώργου Γκολφίνου. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών της, τιμήθηκε με τέσσερις υποτροφίες από το Ι.Κ.Υ. και απέσπασε την υψηλότερη βαθμολογία. Έχοντας αποφοιτήσει με άριστα από τη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Α.Π.Θ., τον Ιούνιο του 2008 βραβεύτηκε με την υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Μιχελή για μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο εξωτερικό. Πραγματοποίησε σπουδές στο University of the Arts στο Λονδίνο, (Wimbledon College of Art) με δάσκαλο τον διεθνούς φήμης ζωγράφο Geraint Evans. Το 2011 αποφοίτησε κατακτώντας τον τίτλο “MASTER OF ARTS”. Η δουλειά της έχει παρουσιαστεί σε γνωστές γκαλερί και αίθουσες τέχνης στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Το 2013, το Hellenic Cultural Center του Λονδίνου πραγματοποίησε ατομική της έκθεση με τίτλο “Freeze” που στάθηκε αφορμή για να δημοσιευθεί σχετικό άρθρο στο Wall Street International Magazine με τίτλο “Kalli Kastori: Freeze”. Έργα της Κάλλης Καστώρη βρίσκονται σε πολλές ιδιωτικές συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, καθώς και σε δημόσιους οργανισμούς και Πινακοθήκες.

Kalli Kastori was born in Volos. She studied music and guitar, having a huge impact from a very early age. She made recordings in radio stations in Cairo, Romania, Sofia and ERT. He taught for several years and gave concerts at International Festivals such as the Apollonia Festival of Arts in Bulgaria, and Aalborg in Denmark.

In March 1988, one of the best known magazines in the field of music, Classical Guitar, published an article entitled “Greek Notebook- Colin Cooper visits Volos”, in which the journalist makes reference to her music: “I am impressed by Kalli Kastori… she plays so sensitively and with such a wonderful sound”, he describes.

From 2000 onwards, Kalli Kastori has devoted herself fully to visual art. In 2003 she was the first to enter the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the first to graduate from the studio of George Golfinou.

During her studies, she was awarded four scholarships by the I.K.Y. and received the highest marks.

Having graduated with honors from the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in June 2008 she was awarded the Michelis Foundation scholarship for postgraduate studies abroad.

He studied at the University of the Arts in London, (Wimbledon College of Art) with the internationally renowned painter Geraint Evans. In 2011 he graduated with the title “MASTER ART”

Her work has been exhibited in well-known galleries and art galleries in Greece and abroad. In 2013, the Hellenic Cultural Center in London held a solo exhibition entitled “Freeze”, which was the occasion for an article in Wall Street International Magazine entitled “Kalli Kastori: Freeze”.

Kalli Kastori’s works are in many private collections in Greece and abroad, as well as in public institutions and galleries.
